2024 Run Fur Luv

Join us June 29, 2024 for a fun event and help raise some money. This is 1 Mile Walk or a 5K Run. This will be held at the York Adopt-A-Pet shelter located at 1511 N Platte Ave York, NE 68467.

What’s new?

We will have vendors/information booths at the beginning of the 1-mile route. Check them out before/during/after the race. Vendors/information booths will be at YAAP from 7:30am-9:30am

Dog obstacle course-after the 1-mile race, take your pup through the fun obstacle course
Lemonade/Cookie Stand: Free will donation
Company battles: Grab your co-workers and sign up for the 5k or 1 mile walk. The company with the most participates on race day wins bragging rights and their group picture will be posted on the YAAP Facebook page proving their victory!
Micro-chipping at the shelter starting at 10am-Must reserve a time ahead of event

Race Fees

5k and 1 mile with shirt: $25

5k and 1 mile no shirt $15

Family Packet $60 includes four shirts: 2 Adult Sizes and 2 Youth Sizes

Company Packet includes shirts for your team

8 employees: $120

12 employees: $180

16 employees: $240

20 employees: $300

25 employees: $360

Registration Deadline: June 29, 2024
Check-in: Walk/Run and pick up shirts starting at 7:00am
1 Mile Walk starts at 8:00 am and 5K Run starts at 8:30am
*Limited shelter dogs will be available to walk
Event is dog friendly; all dogs must be on a leash at all times
