"My parents adopted my first dog here almost 20 years ago when I was only a toddler. I gathered donations for the animals on my birthday in elementary school, hosted a fundraiser for their new building in middle school, and continued volunteering with the animals through high school. I left the area for three years after I graduated and I missed the shelter! I lived in an area with a high kill shelter and they did not care about the animals the way they do here. I'm glad to be back and able to volunteer here again! You will not find a better, more caring group of animal lovers than those who have dedicated their lives to the pets at this shelter.I would absolutely recommend. I say this and I do not say it lightly, I think they are the best"
